Dihydroboldenone Cypionate, commonly known as DHB or 1-Testosterone Cypionate, is an injectable anabolic-androgenic steroid used in bodybuilding for lean muscle development, strength and body recomposition.
DHB is a derivative of dihydrotestosterone (DHT) and the 5-alpha-reduced form of boldenone. Unlike testosterone and boldenone, DHB is generally considered a non-aromatizing compound, meaning it does not convert into estrogen through the aromatase enzyme.
Bodybuilders commonly use DHB when the goal is to increase lean muscle and strength while limiting the water retention normally associated with more estrogenic compounds.
DHB is a potent androgen and anabolic steroid. Human clinical research is very limited, and Dihydroboldenone Cypionate has no established medical or TRT dosage. Published research on 1-Testosterone confirms strong androgen-receptor activity and anabolic effects, while also showing that the compound can produce the adverse effects associated with anabolic-androgenic steroids.
DHB Dosage for Men
Fitness / Recomposition Dosage:
200mg per week
Lean Muscle / Strength Dosage:
300mg per week
Bodybuilding Dosage:
400mg per week
*DHB Cypionate is commonly divided into two injections per week.
The dosage ranges above reflect commonly reported non-medical bodybuilding use rather than an approved clinical dosing protocol.
Potential Side Effects
As with other anabolic-androgenic steroids, DHB can suppress natural testosterone production and may negatively affect cholesterol, cardiovascular health, fertility, skin and hair. Androgenic effects can include acne and accelerated male-pattern hair loss in susceptible users.
DHB is also known among users for producing more post-injection discomfort than many other injectable anabolic steroids, particularly at higher concentrations or larger injection volumes.
